We live in a “service economy” but all too often service seems to be a lost virtue. How does service help transform our lives and the lives of others?

(Today is Generosity Sunday. We join Unitarian Universalist congregations around the country celebrating Association Sunday, raising money for lay theological education and ministerial training and development.)

On the Podcast:

0:00-5:13 Reflection – Joyce Heflin
5:14-21:44 Sermon – Anybody Can Be Great - Rev. Don Southworth

Claudia Frost, Worship Associate Victoria Zula

Our mission statement declares we are a religious community of love. What does this mean? Is it possible to be bound by a greater love for each other? During this month of the Jewish Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur, what can we learn from our Judeo – Christian roots about the relationship between forgiveness and love? What does love have to do with fear? Big questions ……..Courageous action required.

On the Podcast:

0:00-6:53 Reflection – Victoria Zula
6:54-30:59 Sermon – Love In Action - Claudia Frost
