The poet Joy Harjo writes, "The world begins at a kitchen table…We must eat to live….and also at this table we gossip, recall enemies and…ghosts…." Enemies and ghosts…and great loves. How do we stay at the table with all of them, especially during the holidays? What spiritual practices might help?

We Covenant to Affirm and Promote

This morning we begin a seven month series on our seven principles. Too often we put them on the wall or in our wallet and don’t treat them as spiritual practices. On the Sunday before the election remembering everyone’s inherent worth and dignity could be a very good thing.
