Theologian Thomas Berry envisioned a new story of human origins, one that would speak to human beings in meaningful ways, given our modern understanding of physics and biology.  This morning we’ll explore Berry’s “universe story” with the help of the musical ensemble, Avante.

Rev. Deborah Cayer

Life has given each of us great gifts.  What are we called to do with them?

Oneness (10-2-2011)

Rev. Deborah Cayer

Most of the world’s religious traditions have some idea about how the unique individual is also part of a greater unity and wholeness.  Unitarian Universalists do, too.  “Oneness” has a particular meaning in this fellowship as well.  Why does it matter?

From Out of a Tight Place (9-25-2011)

Rev. Deborah Cayer

The Jewish New Year ("May it be sweet!") begins at sunset on September 28, and for Jews it's a time of returning to the heart of faith and right relationship in order to make a good, new beginning. What might Unitarian Universalists learn from this about our own spiritual lives?
